Chilled RoseMilk Dalgona To Get Through This Ramadan By Zarina Bhamjee | Ramadan Recipes |

Ramadan has approached in summers in the southeast and the middle east. Combating the prickly heat was already a big struggle but to add more to the struggle we got the Ramadan fasts to complete. So how exactly have you thought you will get through this Ramadan?
As we progress further to the end of Ramadan, I believe the heat will only increase. So let's whip up some nice chilled drinks/concoctions for iftar and quench the thirst of our parched throats.

Here is an amazing and quite a unique recipe of rose milk dalgona which I came up with. Now that dalgona coffee is so much in trending, thought I might as well make dalgona but with a different twist. So let's begin with:

Ingredients

Cold milk- 1 liter
Cardamon milk- 1 can
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Fresh cream- 250ml
Rose syrup- 1/4 cup
Rose essence- 2 drops

For the garnish

Vanilla icecream
Cardamon powder
Chia seeds soaked

1. In the cold milk add cardamon milk and sugar and mix well. Fill 3/4 of a glass with this concoction.

2. Take a mixing bowl and add the fresh cream, rose syrup, and rose essence. using an electric hand-mixe or just a whisk, whip this cream until you see soft peaks forming.

3. Now spoon this whipped cream on top of the milk such that the glass is now full.

4. For the garnish, scoop a dollop of ice-cream on the top and sprinkle cardamon powder with a small spoon of soaked chia seeds on one side.  There You Go! You just whipped up a refreshing dalgona rose milk for your iftar!
