DIY Cream and Mushroom Club Sandwich

Club sandwich is a healthy yet simple breakfast recipe. CLUB is an abbreviation for Chicken and Lettuce under Bacon. They are called so since they were first prepared in clubs. The recipe for delicious veg club sandwich is as follows:

For the filling:
oil, for frying
Mushroom, chopped
Onion, diced
Salt and Pepper, pinch
2-3 tbsp fresh cream
Egg
Tomato, sliced
Lettuce
Cheddar cheese, sliced
Mayo, for spreading
Butter, for greasing
4 slices of brown bread/sandwich bread

Heat oil in a fan. Saute the onions and mushrooms. Sprinkle salt and pepper and add fresh cream. Switch off the flame once the vegetables are tender. In a separate pan fry an omelette. Set these both aside. Spread mayo on either sides of the bread slices. Now spread the cream and mushroom mixture on one, a slice of tomato on another and lettuce leaf with Cheddar cheese on the third. 
Butter the top of the sandwich and grill for 5 mins. Cut the sandwich diagonally and secure with tooth pick.
