DIY Slim Down Detoxifying Water

Aren't you always delving into "ways to slim down your weight" and always end up with cardio or running/jogging as the only way out for trimming weight? I know how tedious and uninspiring "workout" sounds but hey let me tell you body slimming isn't as laborious as it sounds if you try out this recipe of detoxifying water. Infused with flavours of fresh citrus fruits, veggies and herbs, this nutritive drink holds benefits that are essential for a body to be kept in shape as well as a taste that asks for more.

Besides losing weight this drink helps balance the pH level in the body, improves the digestive health, revs the metabolism and most importantly helps remove toxins from the body.

My bottle holds around 1 litre of water into which I add
1 tsp dry ginger powder/ 1 tsp freshly crushed ginger
1/2 cucumber thinly sliced
a handful of fresh mint leaves
1 lemon sliced

NOTE: Within a 24-hour detox routine, I prefer to keep refilling the bottle with water 2- 3 times keeping the contents as it is. However, I recommend you to drain off the contents once the mint leaves start turning black since the water tastes bitter due to mint leaves losing chlorophyll. If you wish to store the water, strain off the water from the contents and this water can be preserved for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.

For best results avoid having junk/oily and unhealthy foods. A 30 minute every day does make a great difference in losing weight.
