DIY Pizza Samosa + Honey Drip Cheese Samosa Recipe | Ramadan Special Recipe

Hi Everyone! I have decided that in the upcoming days and weeks I will be posting a series of Ramadan Special recipes. So here goes our first recipe for this Ramadan.

Since I'm a pizza lover I try to put in the pizza flavor where ever possible. Apparently, who doesn't love pizza?

I wanted to keep the recipe simple so I'm not starting with preparing the samosa dough for making samosa leaves, I'd rather buy the frozen samosa leaves from the store. They are tastier, lighter, easy to make and less time-consuming. So let's begin with preparing the filling.

Ingredients
1 medium sized onion, finely diced
1 medium-sized tomato, finely diced
a handful of olives pitted and cut
 1/2 cup capsicum, finely chopped
4- 5 tbsp pizza sauce
1 Tsp oregano
1 cup or more mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup chicken, boiled and shredded

When it comes to pizza I'm pretty sure you all can become a bit more creative so go on adding your favorite pizza fillings. Combine all these in a bowl. Fill in the samosa leaves with this mixture and fry them on medium heat.

I didn't wanna let down cheese-lovers and kids so I settled on making honey drip cheese samosas with the rest of my leaves.

Ingredients
processed cheese triangles
honey

I used Al Marai processed cheese triangles but you can definitely go for any other brand of cheese. Fold it, as usual, placing the triangle in the pocket and deep fry them. Since the cheese is a lil salty to taste, I pour honey onto the fried samosas before serving.
